Getting addicted to korean Drama on netflix
I got attached to some of the Korean dramas, and now I am binge-watching them.
I started watching Korean dramas out of curiosity because I had seen some short videos of them on YouTube. Now, it has become fun for me to watch Korean dramas. So far, I have watched more than four series, and I am surprised by the storytelling and sense of humor in the stories.
The level of acting and the blend of fiction with reality is awesome. Most of the dramas I have watched so far are realistic ones based on family stories.
I have watched these so far, and none of them disappointed me in terms of story. I was not bored; in most of them, I cried and felt the emotions deep in my heart. I know the perfection of stories in Korean dramas is exceptional, but it feels meditative to me because I can feel lost in the story.
For a long time, I was watching Marvel movies and documentaries about the world ending, but I was getting bored with those.
I decided to shift to a new type of content and came across the Korean web series "Start-Up." After watching "Start-Up," my perspective on content consumption completely changed. I then watched "Juvenile Justice" as well. Both are from different genres, yet both have storylines that captivate the viewer's attention.
I don't think you will get bored if you watch these stories. I am surprised by the content, and I am amazed that there is a place where people are thinking differently, beyond nudity and love. These stories have totally different concepts and tell a lot about society. Some have fictional elements, but they still explain a lot about Korean culture.
I have never been to Korea, but I can say one thing: a lot depends on the content. I was born in India, and I know what kind of content our industry has been producing for years and how much it has changed. Today, Indian content is also improving, but there was a time when it was just repetitive love stories. I was not happy with that, but who cares about my happiness, lol.
The point is, content affects a lot of things, even the thinking of the people. If content creators focus more on nudity and vulgarity, the audience will turn out to be like that, and society will also follow the same path in the long run. So, I feel it's good to produce good content and consume good content as well.
If you have time, you should try watching some Korean dramas. I'm sure you will be happy and feel good after finishing a few series.
